The finals saw our women's team face up our close rivals, Thailand, in which past matches have seen both teams emerging as winners or ended up a draw after regular time. Singapore started on the front foot with an early goal by our captain, Amanda Yeap. Minutes later, Thailand equalize through their ever-present forward, Tikhamporn Sakunpithak. Before the end of 1st period, once again we took the lead with the credit of Shannon Yeo. 

From then, our team didn't look back and close the game with the score of 4-1 and emerge as the Champion of the first Women's AOFC Cup 2018.
