PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES PERTAINING TO FLOORBALL

To: Floorball Fraternity in Singapore – Players, Coaches, Clubs & Private Academies

Singapore Floorball Association has compiled and highlighted the key points from precautionary measures introduced by Sport Singapore and Ministry of Health (MOH). We seek your cooperation to abide the to these measures and stay updated to the latest advisories.

Tournaments/Competitions, leagues and matches

  1. Sport Singapore has advised all tournaments/competitions, leagues and matches to be suspended till 30 April 2020, or cancelled with effect from 26 March 2020, 2359 hrs.
  2. ActiveSG-SFA Singapore Floorball League Division 3/4/5/6 have been suspended till further notice.
  3. ActiveSG-SFA Singapore Floorball Premier League that was due to begin Mid-April will be put on hold indefinitely.

Children and Youth-centric organised programmes

  1. Sport Singapore has advised all children and youth-centric organised programmes to be suspended till 30 April 2020 (regardless of programme and class size)  
  2. Singapore Floorball National U-19 Training has been suspended till 30 April 2020
  3. Youths that are involved in Singapore Floorball National Team training are to be excused. For this specific situation, youths are defined as anyone that is in an establishment below University or National Service.

Sport Facilities- Indoor Sports Hall

  1. Sport Singapore has advised that all group activities should have no more than 10 persons, with at least 1 metre spacing between them. Indoor sports hall should be kept well ventilated.
  2. Given the physical distance between participants are strictly to be kept at least 1m apart, Singapore Floorball Association strongly discourage training sessions and recreational floorball activities to be conducted till 30 April 2020.

Physical Training – Outdoor sessions

  1. Sport Singapore has advised that all outdoor programmes must be kept at to a maximum of 10 participants with 1m spacing between them.
  2. Sport Singapore has advised that youths are also to be excused from all programmes/ training.
