Singapore Floorball Association is looking to revamp our logo. We are opening this contest to the public for ideas. Come forward and submit your work, and prizes worth $300 to be won.
Please read the following for the Rules and Regulation of this contest.
1 ELIGIBILITY
1.1 This contest is open to the members of the public residing in Singapore only. This Contest is not open to companies, educational institutions, organizations, etc. or to groups associated with such institutions.
1.2 Contestants are permitted to work in groups; however, only one (1) prize will be awarded regardless of group size.
1.3 Members of the SFA Management Committee, staff and their immediate families are not eligible for this contest.
1.4 The registration form can be obtained from our website: https://www.revolutionise.sg/sgfloorball/home/
1.5 This registration form must be submitted together with the logo (as noted in clause 2 below) before submission closing time/ date.
1.6 The contest begins on 23th October 2023. Submissions will be accepted up to 5.59PM (Singapore time) 11 November 2023.
Winners will be announced via our website, social media websites, and by direct contact to the winner’s email account.
1.7 There is no fee to enter the Contest.
1.8 Entries must conform to the submission guidelines set out below. Entries which fail to do so will be rejected.
2 REQUIREMENTS AND SUBMISSION
2.1 Complete and endorsed registration form.
2.2 Each entry must consist of two (2) files: the basic logo, in as a scalable vector graphic in PSD format AND as a PNG format.
2.3 The purpose of the contest is to design a logo for the Singapore Floorball Association. The logo must be appropriate for a National Sports Association.
2.4 The logo will be used online, in print, and on merchandise. Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily and to look good in black and white as well as in color. The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing. It should be visually appealing on both small (as small as 2 cm x 2 cm) and large scales.
2.5 The logo should not be photographic and must not contain any other text besides that noted in 2.6.
2.6 Logo Requirements, the logo should be predominantly in Red, White and Blue. Logo should include the words Singapore Floorball Association
2.7 Email all the items stated in the submission requirement (in 2.2) to sdo.sfa@gmail.com
2.8 You should be able to describe what is meant by the logo design and its colours
2.9 Post your design on either or both Facebook or Instagram with your logo design with the upon submission, with hashtag #singaporefloorball
2.10 Only one (1) submission per registration. Each individual can only register once.
3 CONTEST PERIOD
3.1 Submission Opening: 23rd October 2023
3.2 Submission Closing: 11 November 2023, 6pm.
3.3 Judging of submissions: 18 November 2023
3.4 Winner Announcement: 19 November 2023
4 CONTEST WINNER
4.1 Contest winner will be announced on 19 November 2021 on SFA’s Facebook & Instagram accounts.
4.2 There will be only one winner.
4.3 The winner will also be notified via email stated in the particulars form.
4.4 Prize money of $250.00 Singapore Dollars, with a pair of final tickets to the Women World Floorball Championships on 10th Dec 2023.
4.5 Acceptable identification to be presented in person and particulars should be according to the details stated in the registration form.
5 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 All entrants affirm their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
5.2 All entries shall become the sole property of SFA and may be used for any SFA purposes, including, but not limited to, display on websites, business cards, letterhead, posters, and other materials.
5.3 SFA reserves the right to adapt, edit, modify, or otherwise use the winning submission in part or in its entirety in whatever manner it deems appropriate.
5.4 SFA reserves the right to choose not to use the winning entry as described in these contest guidelines.
5.5 SFA reserves the right to use any other entry for promotional or other purposes in the future.
6 RESERVED RIGHTS
6.1 By participating in this contest, the participants agree to SFA’s use of their personal data in the registration forms and images during the course of this competition.
6.2 In any event, all personal data shall only be used for the purposes of facilitating and monitoring of the competition.
6.3 All decisions by SFA with respect to any aspect of the contest are final. They are not subject to review.
6.4 SFA reserves the right to modify the contest rules and/or submission procedures and make clarifications with regards to the contest rules, as deemed necessary.
6.5 SFA retains all the copyright to submitted logo images.
6.6 SFA is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or otherwise unusable entries, including entries that are lost or unusable due to computer, internet, or electronic problems.
6.7 SFA reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest and award the prize by alternate means if fraud or technical failure is determined at any time, including after the submission window has closed.
6.8 SFA is not liable, for the purpose of winner and prize notification and delivery, in the event the contest winner has provided incorrect, outdated, or otherwise invalid contact information.
LOGO BRIEF
Organisation: Singapore Floorball Association
Vision: A recognised floorball nation in Asia with high community engagement
Purpose:
- To serve the floorball community by providing leadership and protecting the integrity of the sport in all areas.
- To set directions for the promotion and development of floorball and capacities of high-performance teams in Singapore.

Reason for Change in SFA logo: As part of the Women’s World Floorball Championship in Dec 2023, organised by the SFA. To create a refreshed logo in representing the transition of the Association and the Singapore floorball scene into a more vibrant, engaged and forward-looking community.
