Communication pitched at the right level is critical in any coaching session. This workshop will touch on the key communication skills which coaches require as they continue their coaching practices. Contextualising it to their situation, the workshop seeks to use those skills to develop age appropriate communication methods and teaching cues to provide an effective training session for the young swimmers. 

Sumiko is a Coach Developer from Singapore Swimming and has been instrumental in the conduct of the current level 1 program. A teacher by training, Sumiko has vast experience in delivering content targeted at the relevant age groups. She is currently the founder of her swim school and has a team of coaches working with her to develop strong swimmers within the learn to swim segment.
