Course Description:

SG-Coach - Baby & Toddler Swimming teacher is a SG-Coach (Teach Specialisation). This course offers comprehensive training to coaches, providing them with essential skills to safely introduce both parents and children to the water, while making the learning experience enjoyable. 

The program emphasises on areas of skill development and safe teaching practices unique to this tender age group. Additionally, the importance of infusing elements of fun through aquatic activities is a cornerstone of every baby and toddler aquatic program. 

Coaches will be equipped to educate parents on quality activity practices around water, making the process engaging and interactive. By incorporating play, exploration, and encouragement, this approach not only fosters a safe aquatic learning environment, it also enhances the joy and bonding between children and their parents in the water.

Please note that you are required to have 100% attendance in order to fulfill the course requirements. You will be awarded the Singapore Coach Excellence Programme Baby & Toddler Swimming Technical Certificate upon completion of all requirements of this course.

Please ensure to complete the following course prerequisites

• All participants will be required to register as TeachSAQ/CoachSAQ Member. (For course tracking purposes)
• Registered NROC Full Membership (Coach, Senior Coach, Master Coach)
• Completed "Understanding SafeSport as a Coach" on SportSG-ED

This SG-Coach Programme is created in partnership with CoachSG and NROC.
