acceptable use policy

revolutioniseSPORT supports a large number of clients across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. As such, actions of individual Clients can have a big impact on our system as a whole. That's why all revolutioniseSPORT users must follow this Acceptable Use Policy. If you violate this policy, we may suspend or terminate your account.

In the clauses below, "Send" means, but is not limited to uploading content to your account, posting the content on your website, emailing out the content, or using revolutioniseSPORT in any way to facilitate the hosting or transfer of this content.

Please don't use revolutioniseSPORT to send anything offensive, to promote anything illegal, or to harass anyone. You may not send:

  • Pornography or other sexually explicit content
  • Content offering to sell illegal goods or services
  • Emails that violate Anti-spam laws in your jurisdiction

prohibited actions

We work hard to keep our system clean, but we count on our customers to pitch in too. You may not:

  • Send spam. In short, spam is "unsolicited bulk email".
  • Put into your account any material that wasn't created by you, provided for you to use, or that would violate anyone's rights. That includes text, photos, graphics, and other content.
  • Use any misleading or incorrect names, addresses, email addresses, subject lines, or other information on your website or in any emails created or sent using our Service.
  • Share your password.
  • Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software on our Website, or in any way used or downloaded from the Website.
  • Use any of the software on our Website, or downloaded from the Website, to create a competing product.
  • Set up multiple accounts for any person or entity in order to send similar content, unless you're part of a federated or whole-of-sport system.
  • Import or incorporate any of this information into any lists, emails or uploads to our servers: Credit card numbers, passwords, security credentials, or sensitive personal information of any kind.
  • Host content on our servers for any purpose other than for use in your revolutioniseSPORT account.
  • Delete, bulk unsubscribe, or otherwise modify your member database in order to avoid our billing thresholds.

file storage

Each revolutioniseSPORT account has a limit on the amount of file storage your account can use. If you run out of space, you may upgrade to the next level of storage for a fee. These fees may change from time to time, and a cap may apply on how far you may upgrade.

You will not take any action to circumvent this limit, and doing so may result in the cancellation of your account under our Terms.

bandwidth

We provide, as part of the revolutioniseSPORT service, a hosted website. We don't place any default restrictions on the amount of bandwidth you can consume. However, if your account starts using a disproportionate amount to our other Clients, or, in our discretion you are using above what we deem to be an acceptable amount of bandwidth, then we may impose an annual surcharge to cover the additional cost to us.

spam

As our Service allows you to send email, we feel it's our responsibility to be extra vigilant about preventing spam-related abuse. It's also in our best interest to keep the system clean, because our reputation and deliverability depend on it. That’s why you may only use revolutioniseSPORT to send Emails to people and entities that either:

  • Gave you written (including electronic) permission to send Emails to them, have not withdrawn that permission, and:
    • gave you that permission in the past 12 months; or
    • didn't object to promotional content you sent them in the past 12 months.
  • Gave you their name and email address in connection with a purchase, or negotiations to purchase, a product or service from you, have not opted out from receiving your emails, and either:
    • purchased something from you or negotiated a purchase from you in the past 12 months; or
    • didn't object to promotional content you sent them in the past 12 months.
